Dear all,
My installation is going way too slow, I've downloaded the game and the update (pre-ordered it) on ps4, but now it's downloading for cca 5hrs already, yet its at 50%. (Full game 50%)
What's the problem with this? My internet is quite fast...Is there any way to speed this up?

Yes, same here. I am blown away at how awful this is. Spent hours yesterday on this and can't get past 44%. And somehow this is OK??? There's no huge apology and FIX by EA? 11 pages on this board alone of insane scenarios that harken back to the 1995 era of computers. I've tried all this, and nothing works. I'm glad someone pointed out the scam of calling it "installing" when it's really DOWNLOADING. I have a mediocre DSL connection and never would've considered trying to download 40+GB--which is why I bought the DISC. (I can download, say, a 6GB Call of Duty add-on without issue.) I'm just not even sure what to do at this point. I've rebooted, deleted, started over, tried another profile, all to no avail. I let it run all night last night and it didn't budge even 1% off 44%. I've been playing games a LONG time & have never seen anything like this. What is there to do?????

This issue is still unresolved two weeks later. I'm rather disgusted. If I could get a refund I would immediately.
My game proceeds to install to 36% and stop. I've restarted, restarted in safe mode, redownloaded the latest system update, rebuilt, deleted and started over--and still it stops precisely on 36%.
I shall see if it has made any progress in standby (do games install in standby?) when I get home today. My experience with stalled installs is that it will not have though.
Well, somehow it finally "installed." No idea how. I was stuck at 44% forever, deleted, started over, deleted, started over, somehow got up to 79% after a full day (after the two previous days), then 4 hours to go to 81%, then finally to 100% while I wasn't paying attention. About 4 days total. To install a game. One thing I did several times (which was mentioned somewhere here) was eject the disc while it was installing and then pop it back in & resume installing. I have no idea if that actually did anything or not, but it was something. All in all, without a doubt the absolute worst game installation problem I've ever had (because 99.999% of the time there ARE NO PROBLEMS). Still, I gotta say, the game is fun, so I guess just keep trying... Beyond inexcusable, EA.
So, I ran into this problem and I found this thread via Google.
I bought the game today. It's a new retail physical copy. I put it in to my PS4, and it seemed to be downloading just fine. Then it stopped at 42%. At first I thought it was my PS4. But nope. After about an hour of troubleshooting, I found this was the only game with issues. Deleted, it downloaded it again, then it got stuck at 43%.
So, what is going on?
What puzzles me is that only some people seem to have this issue, since if everyone had it, it would be front page news. Did we get bad discs?
Any official response?
So I'll add my 2 cents here. I bought a physical copy of the game. Put it in, started it up, was able to play the prologue while the update was downloading. The update finished, I had it installed went back into the game saw that game wasn't installed yet. It was around 7%. So I hung around in the game looking at different things and about 10 minutes later it was at 8% So it was dang slow. So I exited the game and came back around 10 minuets later and it had jumped up to about 30% so I went out of the game again, came back in about an hour or so and it was finished. So it just takes a while to install and takes even longer if you have the game open. So close out of it, let it do it's thing and it should go quick. If you are downloading the whole thing and don't have a physical disc, then it will all depend on your internet speed and how fast or slow the PSN servers are at that moment. And for all of you that got the digital version, what the heck people, don't you know you can resell the games on Amazon and make most of it back? Weirdos....
