I find it very difficult to get upset over skins.
If a skin is behind an activity I don't like, I don't get it.
If I really want the skin (unlikely) , I suck it up and do it.....
That's actually summed up why I've not bothered with the Easter egg skin in BFV - can't unlock it solo so won't get it at all.
I simply don't get the angst over something so inconsequential as skins, must be an age thing.
Skins are really not what Battlefield is about, it's moreso the weapon assignments, which is what I'm mainly concerned about. I'm not sure what happened with Firestorm - wasn't there for that. However, I'd imagine anyone not interested in Battle Royale style games would have no good things to say about an implementation where weapon assignments for multiplayer Battlefield must be completed in the rumored Battle Royale. In translating from what I mentioned of MW/CW to Battlefield, I basically meant weapon/gadget/vehicle loadout assignments, the actual meat of Battlefield unlocks.
Weapon assignments are a different kettle of fish.
That said, unless said weapon is a must have, I refer you to my earlier post.
It’s not skins I’m referring to in regards to Warzone. There are many guns that you can use in Warzone that you can only acquire through buying the multiplayer game(s) or by purchasing a specific pack if one becomes available, which still only gives you a specific variant.
This wouldn’t matter too much but they’re some of the best guns available for Warzone. The AMAX has been a top gun for many seasons and I would have to buy Modern Warfare if I wanted to use it in Warzone. That is what I’d like DICE not to do. Don’t be putting the best guns behind what is essentially a paywall.
