I can't redeem promo code for battlefield 3

Hi guys.

I just got a code for battlefield 3, a dog tag of alienware( the teeth) and I try to redeem it, but everything I tried, I get the following message:" An error has occurred while trying to process your request . Please contact Origin help." Can anyone help me please.

    Origin code redemption has been spotty lately due to the increased traffic from the humble bundle.  Keep trying and it will work eventually.

    Alright I see, I am going to keep spamming then or wait for the humble bundle to finish

    I would just keep trying every couple of hours, particularly later in the evening when the US and Europe are asleep.  I've gotten the error a couple of times and when I try it a little later everything worked.
