Damn EA, always released somthing that neva runs..
Well, Battlefield 1942 is running fine on my Windows 7 64bit computer here and Windows 8 64bit at home, so we need to figure out what is preventing you from starting the game.
Could you please try this: https://help.ea.com/article/what-can-i-do-if-i-get-a-black-screen-when-i-start-battlefield-1942
Negative, still zero results. The game doesn't even boot up in the slightest, just the Origin window saying that the game is launching.

Can you do a right-click -> Repair Install please, just in case there is something wonky with the game files.
Oh, and have you already tried activating compatibility mode for the bf1942.exe?

Repair did nothing, the report says my copy is good-to-go. How do I activate compatability mode?

Open the game folder with Windows Explorer, default location would be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942
Then right-click the bf1942.exe and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab in the new window, set it to Windows XP or 7, confirm with a click on OK and try launching the game again.

I found the fix. 7 days of work came down to this.
1. Go onto this website: http://par.nofate.me/
2. Press select file.
3. Go into 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942' and select a file called bf1942.par
4. Press submit, download the new .par file and replace the current one in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942'
5. Enjoy 🙂
