Link XBOX Gamertag to Actual EA Account

    Hello, @Soblazed125.

    I'm really sorry for all the frustration with this. Unfortunately, we can't make any changes to the account without verifying ownership. That includes removing the gamertag from it. Is it possible to create that email address again? If so, you should be able to receive the verification email and verify ownership.

    seems bogus considering my brother somehow linked my email to his xbox. especially when he's 12 and my account has been linked since like 2010 to my xbox then all the sudden i can't play any of my EA games or EA access why can't it just be a simple hyper link to re-link my account

      It's all about security. If they made it easy to link and unlink or change account details without verification then if someone gains access to your account they would be able to change anything they wanted.

      Many years ago I had my account compromised and they started changing details whilst I was still logged in, lucky for me I immediately contacted support on live chat so they could lock my account and stop the person. They could see the other person actively changing my details as we were talking. If I were any slower at acting then my account could have been lost completely and that was all due to my own fault of not having 2FA activated. 

      What i'm trying to say is 2FA/Verification is important to protect accounts from intruders, it's not there to annoy you.

      Are you sure you're logging into the right account? Your gamertag can't be moved from one account to another without contacting our support. This is something we are very hesitant to do because it deletes all the saved data and progress for all of our games on your account. What exactly is the issue you're facing?
