Since Tuesday June 13, 2024, I along with a few other people that I have spoken with have been unable to play multiplayer in Battlefield Hardline (Xbox 360), Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360), and Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (Xbox 360). Anytime the game tries to connect we receive an error saying that "connection to the EA online servers has been lost". Others that have spoken to have been able to login, but the majority have not been able to. With the services coming to an end in November for the Battlefield game and the fact that we will lose the option to rent a server to play on in July, It would be great if this could be address quickly by the Support Team.

Guys it worked for me, all I did was disable the two steps factor on my EA account, then I logged into the game and it worked.

Same thing on PS3 my fellow 360 players.
It seems to only affect people that played these games in the past as I could connect fine with my brother's account on the Hardline servers.

Same issue here. Tested a secondary account and it doesn't have any issues but with my account in multiple consoles, no good at all.

Same issue in Xbox 360 Battlefield games and PvZ Garden Warfare for me. Also tested certain backwards compatible EA games and seeing a similar issue. Is it possible profiles have got corrupted?

I'm having the same. For last few days can't connect to Battlefield 4 or hardline but Battlefield 3 is fine

Hello there fellow Xbox achievement hunters! Even for us PlayStation trophy hunters, we are having problem with Hardline as well. I have asked EA support to look into this issue, but it is obvious they have not done anything to this matter as of this writing. Few of my friends and I are considering filing a complaint to BBB (aka Better Business Bureau) at this point since not only there is not much time left until server closure, but also since EA support is non-existent, there is not much option here. Now, I know it may not resolve the issue by filing a complaint to BBB, but it definitely won't hurt to give it a try 🙂

@I_Am_Yuta_1999 I have an idea to test how to fix it now. Maybe we can unlink Xbox account from EA account, then make new EA acc, and link it with your main Xbox (or PSN) account

Guys, my option worked BUT!!! with new EA account linked with our console account - you will lost all your multiplayer progress. But i had almost zero in Battlefields so nohing to lose

Did unlinking your account also reset any of the newer games such as any of the games on modern systems?
