Yes, I read those same other threads when initially seeking help as many of us did, but that issue was generally server and "twinkle" folder issues that were sometimes solved, sometimes unknown (a lot of posters on these forums just disappeared and left it so they mightve quit or been fixed, who knows?).
For this current thread which is only 3 weeks old, the particular cause of this same ancient symptom is remedied simply by switching to Origin from EA Desktop and given that EA Desktop has only existed since September 2020, it is not the same cause as the issues going back to 2016. We merely need BF1 Origin access or for EA Desktop to perform its game initialization and server handoff similarly to how Origin does it.
We may have the same issue, but it appears to be a different cause than years prior. For this thread, if they will allow us to play the Xbox Game Pass EA games on Origin or found a related workaround, then I *personally* should be saved soon. I hope it helps everyone else in this thread as well. Awkwardly, this seems to be an issue that can be created by several different sources, but a fix for other cases was already found for some, left unconfirmed for others, and thankfully it seems a solution for this thread is already in sight.
The real fix would've been to do a main menu/UI rework so that it isn't so reliant on the server, but whatever, I'm just working with whats in front of me.
