Missing "Visuals" option for weapon skins under Customize Soldier (PS4)

Hello everyone

All of my war bond unlock weapons are gone. I can use these weapons in game, view them and customize them via companion app(mobile and pc web browser) but i cant view or equip or customize them through "customize soldier" section in main menu.

Possible solutions i tried and didnt work :

1. Deleting BF1 save files in documents folder and closing cloud backup option in origin to ensure ill get fresh save files after starting the game.

2. Playing a few games to sync with servers.

3. Repairing the game (which i think the most useless option that i have never seen this fixing a single bug for any one else in the world)

4. Uninstalling BF1, origin and other related EA products and clearing all the files that are created by EA apps or games and then re installing origin and BF1.

None of these worked. If you guys know the solution, please share. Thank you

Very odd you're not able to customize your loadouts at the menu. Have you tried rebooting your network to see if a fresh connection to our servers resolves this?

I'd try clearing the cache for Origin too.

@EA_Blueberryas i mention in my question that i already deleted bf1, origin and EVERY single file on my pc that was created by origin and other ea products. including the cache files in app data and program data folders. so clearing cache wouldnt work. its basic lagic. and no, rebooting the network is not working as well.

1. I know it's not helpful to say this is also happening to me, but it is. Can you still change weapon skins from soldier customize? For me, the "visuals" option when customizing a weapon is now gone, for the weapons that it still lets me equip.

I can change skins of assignment weapons. But when i click on those war bond weapons, it says you dont have enough war bonds to unlock this weapon. I have to change them during match.

It also says that I don't have enough warbonds to unlock the weapons. But I also cannot change skins. I have already unlocked most of the weapons (all except the double barrel and the m1911 extended). I have opened a case with EA support last tuesday.

I am waiting for a response from a "case specialist" (whatever that means) and will respond here if I find a solution. The person I was chatting with on Tuesday told me to follow these steps (it didn't work though) on PS4: 

1. In the main menu XMB, using the controller scroll right to the Settings. 
2. Scroll down to System Software Update icon and select it with X button.
3. If there is an update available, choose the option Update Using Internet and select it with X button.

RESTORE LICENSES

1. In the main menu XMB, using the controller scroll right to the Settings.
2. Select the option for PlayStation™Network/Account Management.
3. Choose Restore Licenses.
4. Select Restore.
5. Restart your console


STARTING PS4 ON SAFE MODE (REBUILDING DATABASE)

1. Press and hold the Power Switch for approx.. 10 seconds. The console should chime a notification sound to inform the player it is starting in Safe Mode.
2. When the PlayStation 4 make the notification sound, de-press the Power switch.
3. The PlayStation will now begin in Safe Mode.
4. Select 5th option - Rebuild Database
Note: This action scans the drive and creates a new database of all content and may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items.

TEST NETWORK CONNECTION

1. In the main menu XMB, using the controller scroll right to the Settings.
2. Scroll down to Network icon.
3. Scroll down to Test Internet Connection
4. The PlayStation 4 will now test basic network information

One last thing for now, I think this all started when the weekly medals reset, and the and end of round screen bug was apparently fixed. The end of round summary screens were not working, now they are. I think this is  when this bug started for me.

Yes this issue started this monday when weekly medals got reset. I also had menu reloading glitch which reloads itself in every 5-10 seconds or so. Solved it by deleting save files in documents folder but this soldier customization issue is still there.

Well to be honest i was really hopeless when posting here. I have never ever got a usefull help about any problem i had with games or pc by posting my issue on forums. Ea live chat advisor asked me to do so. But i still cant see any community menager trying to help lol

Is the issue still happening? When a new update/patch drops we can see rank related issues due to the accounts re-syncing to the servers, but it should only be temporary and after playing some games it should automatically correct itself. 

@EA_Blueberryyes its still happening. i played more than 20 games since the issue started. no change. and is there any new update?
