My friend's account got deleted without reason?

My friend's Origin account got deleted, and not because of 2 years of inactivity. He hadn't played for 2 months or so, and when we tried to play Battlefield 3 together, which he got the week it was free, he's account were no where to find. He wasn't on my friendlist, nor was he on the battlelog friendlist. Some of my other friends, could not find him either. When he tried to login, it said that his email wasn't registered, or it said it did not match the password. The point is, his account has disappeared without any obvious reason. So here, I'm seeking an answer, or at least an explanation. Hope you can help. - Lucas

  • What I would first try is creating the account again using the same email, and then manually linking the player progress to the account.

    Link your Xbox Live gamertag or PlayStation Network ID to Origin like this:
    1. Log in to your Origin account
    2. Click Friends -> Add a friend in the menu bar
    3. The pop-up will give you the option to connect to Facebook, XBOX Live or Playstation Network. Choose your preferred option
    4. Fill in your log-in details and follow the steps on screen

    Please contact an Electronic Arts Technical Support adviser here if you experience any problems, or cannot link the account properly: http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/
    1) Click on the game you're having trouble with (If you can't see it, use the search bar)
    2) Select a topic for the best results.
    3) Scroll to the bottom and select 'Contact Us'.
    4) Select your platform and list a short description of your problem.
    5) Select 'live chat' or 'call me' to request a callback from an EA games adviser.

    Thank you so much for the answer, but the thing with manually linking the player progress to the account, is it the same steps on PC? Because we're on PC. And if you ahve time, a in depht quide would be awesome, but I understand if not, I will try to find one myself. I might seem stupid, but when it comes to this, I'm kinda retarded. Thank you so much for your time.
