new xbox one s can not connect to server

Question

Hey guys, I just bought the Xbox one s battefield edition. I played the campaign for a little bit and decided to try to get online. Well. It will not let me connect. I've tried the troubleshooting methods. I have good connection and I can play gears of war online with out issues. I used a different email between my Xbox account and my Ea account but they are linked, I can sign into the EA app on the xbox with out issue as well.. I don't have any other EA games at this time to try to sign into but I do know that battlefield is not working

Have you tried to restart you router? Power cycle you console can also solve this. But you need to turn it off and unplug from power source for a few minutes. Turn it on again and try to get online. Finally you can perform the Factory Reset http://support.xbox.com/en-IE/xbox-one/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults&nbsp;to fix this.

I have tried everything you have posted to do other than the factory reset. It is a brand new consol, I don't see how doing a reset would change anything other than have to wait for hours for my downloads to re download. I am waiting for a call from EA now. It said 15 minutes 30 minz ago

Hello, I am also having the exact same issue and I have been trying to figure out the problem for a couple days now, even did an online chat with a tech guy for an hour and still nothing. I would appreciate it if you could share any info you may receive from that phone call if it works out for you.

Hey Guys...I called Playstaion probably for your it will be Microsoft but they told me most of the connection issues was due to infinity not having open ports on the modem/router. I have a cisco router so i had to contact them for support. I opened all ports for UDP and still no luck connecting to the servers on the PS4 side. I understand that you have xbox but if you come to a resolution let me know what that would be hopefully i can apply that with my issue.

After being on the phone for a while and doing a UO test we found my ping min/max was bad and my package loss was off. I called my internet provider and was recomended to attach an Ethernet cord and it worked!
