Please don't use custom config files downloaded from Dropbox with your Origin client as this will most likely cause issues again for you in the future.
If you are currently experiencing download issues, we would like to ask you to update your Origin client to the latest beta version.
- Launch Origin and log in with your account
- Click Origin in the top left (main menu)
- Select Application Settings
- From General tab, scroll down to "Update to the beta version if available" and tick the checkbox
- Restart Origin
This should fix any looping or stuck downloads.
So far this has fixed the issue. Don't run the beta in admin mode, it will just do the same and stop after 200MB or so.

Failed after downloading 400MB. This issue really needs to be fixed, it's no excuse. If steam can handle all of the load, why can't origin?
yeah that has not worked at all, im running beta and it stopped again.
Same for me. At first, I thought it worked but I came back 30 minutes later and the download was stuck again. Had to quit to resume it as the pause button worked but not the resume button (unclickable)
This still has not worked for me, it does about 2% of the download and then just gets stuck time after time, ive tried running origin in beta, ive tried running origin as administrator the the :C drive and that still does not work and because this game is almost 7gb its going to take days to download so i dont know what else to do.
ok, My config:
- Win 7 x64 updated
- origine beta updated
- windows firewall grants for origine.exe and OriginClientService.exe
- client launched with either admin rights and standard mode

Perhaps it's time for some people at EA to start putting money in Origin.
As it is now, Origin is actively contributing to the "worst company of the year" EA was awarded.
i think its your Problem not in our computer becuse alot of guys have that problem try to Try changing the download server of the game
Where can I do that? I do not see anything in settings about download server location
That bug isn't solved. Please, keep trying...
How do u disable the beta mode?
