Own BF1 Base version, EA App stuck with only 'Buy' or 'Subscribe'

Long story short: same sort of issue others are having, and email support is completely useless.

Short story long: When this game and EA Play were new I subscribed and played the 10 hour trial.  When Prime Gaming gave away keys to the base version of the game, I claimed the key in Origin.  I was able to play the game JUST FINE, which I did for maybe 50-75 hours or so total.  Since that time I've had a few 1 month subscription periods come and go due to MS Game Pass and on at least one of those occasions I was of course able to download the game and play because the full game had been added to basic tier EA Play. Aside from that I didn't (often) use Origin or the EA App without an active subscription from that point on until around 1 week ago when I had an active subscription expire, and during that time I had again installed and played Battlefield 1.

When that sub period expired I could no longer play the game.  I tried uninstalling the game (after copying the files to somewhere else just in case it could end up helping somehow), wiped the EA App cache, uninstalled the EA App entirely including deleting any and all trace of it from AppData/ProgramData/Program Files and so forth (didn't touch system registry so I've no idea if something might be in there), reinstalled the EA App, and it didn't help.

Other important things to note which points to this being some issue with my account and not just some screwy software issue on my PC:

1)  My OS install is relatively new, at no point did it ever have Origin installed so if this is some kind of migration issue after Origin was shut down then it's not due to anything on my system.

2)  I've installed the EA App on a 2nd entirely different HTPC and this exact same problem still exists there.

The issue: The game appears in my library but is greyed out with no Download button. See the attached screenshot 'library.jpg'

If I go to BROWSE and SEARCH for Battlefield 1, it says it is in my library.  It only says this for games that YOU OWN PERMANENTLY.  I know this becuase there are a couple of other greyed out games in my library that I'd played through Game Pass/EA Play that I DO NOT own but it does not say this when looking the game up in the BROWSE section of the app and it does say so for every game that I DO own permanently.  See the attached screenshot 'browse and search.jpg'

If I click on the game, either from BROWSE or LIBRARY, I am only given the options of BUY or EA Play subscription.  See the attached screenshot 'bf1 cant run or dl.jpg'

I was very careful to give all of this information very clearly to Email support but sadly they are living up to their reputation.

Unlike others I've seen with this sort of problem, I did not have anything saying 'trial expired', however one of the email support replies stated -

"I would like to share that I have gone ahead and made some changes to your account. I would request you to please log out and back into Origin/the EA app. This would certainly resolve the issue."  This leads me to believe that they are aware of the trial causing problems and maybe they did something related to that, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem I am encountering.

Can anybody here please somehow help get this corrected?  If it helps at all, I still have the key given to me by Amazon/Prime Gaming.  I've included it in my emails already but that didn't seem to accomplish anything.  The first reply asked me to confirm the affected account address / username (expected).  The second was the one saying they'd changed something with my account, but when I cleared the cache again just to be thorough, logged out and back in again, nothing had changed.  The third and most recent message was the usual boilerplate 'clear the cache' advice which of course is pointless and shows that your Email support literally does not read previous messages...  I've still replied to them and once again told them I've done this already multiple times.

Thanks in advance.  I'm not going to get my hopes up if I'm to be completely honest.  Heck I was even considering buying the extra maps to play the 'full' game without a sub along with possibly even picking up BF2042 while sales were ongoing.

(Not really related but you'll notice in my screenshots that I still have BFV installed, which was also from the Prime Gaming giveaway a week after BF1, which I also installed during my last open subscription.  Unlike BF1, that game still works fine.)
