[PC] sudden crash when laser sight is equiped on weapon

As the title says, vertified on both test range and public server. Doesn't matter if I spawn with the weapon or grab a battlefield pickup.

Never seen this one before.

EDIT: I've done more testing and it's deferred anti-aliasing that causes this crash.

Okay that is a rare issue or better reason for this issue, thanks for your feedback. Is it working if you disable AA and could you please provide us a few details about your PC hardware?

    Cheers

Disabling AA does work, but  it's kind of ugly. I have the following hardware:

    Motherboard, ASUS A-88X Pro

    CPU, AMD A10 7850K

    GPU, AMD HD 6970

    Soundcard, Asus Xonar DX

Have you already checked if a different driver version will fix the issue as well as used all different AA options?

Same thing with both old and new drivers, only deferred AA causes it.

  • How much RAM?

Also please try repairing the game as the attatchment may be corrupt.

I have 16GB of RAM, unfortunately repairing my game did nothing.

  • Open My Docs then delete the 'Battlefield 4' Folder and try to repair.
