Please Tell Me I’m Not Alone With This Battlefield 1 Vehicle Bug

Has anyone else run into this weird vehicle bug in Battlefield 1?

Sometimes when I join a game, my vehicle controls are completely messed up. Steering with tanks (A/D) or planes (pitch up with space, pitch down with E) barely registers — like it’s only giving 1% of the normal input. The vehicle does respond, but so little that it’s basically unplayable.

A few things about the bug:

• It affects all vehicles (tanks, planes, etc.).
• When it happens, it lasts the entire match. Either I have it or I don’t when I join. Rejoining might fix it, but not always.
• I’ve tried everything: updating drivers, reinstalling the game, verifying game files. No success.
• It’s not hardware-related — I get the same issue on my laptop too.
• I’ve only heard of one other person experiencing this, so it seems rare.

At this point I have no clue what causes it. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix/workaround?
