Promo Code not working

Hello,

I got a promo code for $10 for my birthday and I wanted to use it to buy Battlefield 3 Premium Edition PC Digital Download, When I get to the checkout area I put in the code and then nothing happens, it does not take off my $10, what could be the problem? Thanks
