- ApprovedAnonymous11 years agoIt isn't a total loss though folks. At the very least it's saved you the cost of hardline. I'm not going anywhere near that meltdown.

I called Mediacom technical support to ask if for some reason they block certain DNS servers etc... They asked the reason I was asking and after I told them about PS3 troubles they pointed the finger at Playstation. They just kept saying that they were not trained to handle my question, so I asked if they could refer me to a higher tier of support - I don't think there is one. I asked the lady directly if she even knew what DNS was and she replied, "yes", with no other explanation. Her response after that was we can handle internet connection problems only. Do you think Playstation administers your network lady!? Before I let myself take out all of these frustrations on her I just ended the call. I think I was transferred to a sweat shop in India for after hours support or something... No luck whatsoever :/..
