Ps3 freeze

Hi there!

Make sure your server is empty while changing the settings. Try to delete and install the "Rent-a-Server" update and it should work again. If not, please let me know by posting here again.

Also it helps if you turn the media server function for your PS3 off and connect your console to your router with a CAT5 cable instead of using wireless. 

Sometimes it also helps to rebuild your PS3's database as described here:  http://www.ps3blog.net/2011/01/28/tips-and-tricks-ps3-rebuild-database-faq-recovery-menu/

The server is empty, and I deleted all the updates at one point, yet it still freezes. Could it be a problem with the disk?

I cleaned the disk. It seems to have two small scratches. My ps3 still froze at the exact same spot.

Have you tried with a brand new copy? One or two small scratches can be the problem, as you said it freeze at the same spot.

Try with a new disc and report back here again.

I actually tried with a different PS3 and a different BF3 disk. For some reason, it still froze ☹️

Here's everything I've done so far. EVERYTHING results in my PS3 freezing at the exact same spot. 

My disc, My PS3, My profile = freeze

My disc, friends ps3, my profile = freeze

Friends disc, friends PS3, friends profile( Hes an admin) = freeze

And pretty much everyother possible combination. IT STILL **bleep**ING FREEZES. 

Is there anyway you could refund the one month I've already lost, and the 3 weeks I'm most likely going to lose. I just want to play End Game on my server ☹️

So since I can't find an answer here, does DICE have their own place where I could ask for help, or should I go straight to Battlelog?

Two weeks left. Freeze everytime. It's not a problem on my end. Two disks, three ps3s and 2 profiles have the same freeze. DO SOMETHING!
