[PS3] No gun glitch

So I've had BF3 for a while. Didn't play it for a year and decided to play it again. Well, I can't. Why? Well, everytime I die, I respawn with no guns. When that happens, the audio is cut out a bit. When I spawn at first, I SOMETIMES have a gun but even then, the audio cuts in and out. I've cleaned my disk and it has 0 scratches. I've deleted my profile data and game data numerous times. I've disabled media server. I've done pretty much everything I can think of except contacting EA support. Why haven't I contacted EA support? Well, their support sucks [insert choice object here]. It is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to email EA and I've been waiting for a live chat rep for AND HOUR. So, shoutout to EA for having garbage customer service. Anyways, I NEED a fix for this glitch. Anyone have suggestions?

    This is a workaround and not a permanent fix.  When I spawn with no hands and no weapon, I hit the button to switch weapons (Triangle on PS3, “Y” on Xbox, and "2" on PC), the game will hesitate slightly and my hands will appear with my pistol.  I hit the button again and it swaps at normal speed to my primary weapon.  This works every time for me but not always for everyone who has this problem.  I play BF3 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 and it works on each platform for me.

    Regaridng the audio cut out I don't have a solution for that and it's been a recurring issue for a long time in BF3.
