PS3 Patch 1.04

@J_KITTS_DADE-305 have you already tried to reset your console or to delete the existing game data in order to re-install the game from the scratch?

To reset your console or to rebuild your console data base, you need to enter the PS4 safety mode. To restart or update the system as well as rebuilding the database could do the trick:

Starting the PS4 in Safe Mode

1. Turn off the PlayStation 4 by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
2. Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later.
3. Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.

Safe Mode Options

The following options are available in Safe Mode:

1. Restart System - Ends Safe Mode and restarts the PlayStation 4 normally.
2. Update System Software - Allows the PlayStation 4 to update the system software via Internet, USB Drive, or Disc.
3. Rebuild Database - Scans the drive and creates a new database of all content.
   This operation may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items.

Deleted and reinstalled game data utilities multiple times, still the same...I'm on Ps3

@J_KITTS_DADE-305 sorry my bad, I guess you have also performed a proper hard reset of your PlayStation 3 console:

1. Turn off Playstation 3.

2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.

3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps

4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.

5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button

6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

7. Select Restore File System.

Going through the Checking and Restoring process after it froze, then I will try and restore file system.

Still freezing after the Restore, not sure what else to do!

@J_KITTS_DADE-305 have you already tried to completely remove all your game data (not your savegame data) for Hardline from your console in order to re-install the game from the scratch and could you please tell us what kind of model of the PS3 console you own?
