[PS4] Confused - 3 Different Options of BF4 on Play Station Store
Hi guys,
I have just recently purchased a PS4, and I am also aiming to purchase Battlefield 4 (I know its an old game) from the Play Station Store. I have also read many posts and articles about how you must get a standard edition or deluxe edition first, then purchase a premium version in order to get many benefits such as expansion packs.
I went onto Play Station Store and started looking for the correct product of Battlefield 4 to purchase. However, I stumbled across THREE options for Battlefield 4 PS4.
1. Battlefield 4 Premium Edition (Premium2 Image)
2. Battlefield 4 Premium (Premium1 Image)
3. Battlefield 4 (Standard Image)
- So I see that #1 and #3 are the same size at 31.6 GB. Does that mean both versions include the base game + multiplayer? (Does #1 still have the expansion packs?)
- All three of them have different prices, #3 at around $30.00 USD, #2 at $50.00 USD and #1 at around $60.00 USD. If the size of #1 and #3 are the same, why are their prices different?
In conclusion, I have seen people already purchased standard but they then have to get premium to get the other expansion packs. I personally want the game with all the expansion packs and not much else. I would like to know the differences in these three versions because the website was pretty vague and I would also like to hear some advice for which one to buy since I have NOT yet purchased any.
This is a good question, I wish more people did research before purchasing!
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition is the BF4 base game with the Premium membership so all DLC and premium member benefits are included.
Battlefield 4 Premium is only the Premium DLC membership without the BF4 base game. If you buy this and do not currently have BF4 you will need to purchase BF4 as well.
Battlefield 4 is only the BF4 base game with no premium membership and no additional DLC.
I hope this helps, and see you on the Battlefield!
