I'm having this issue also. Spent probably more than a dozen hours trying to find a fix for it and been through probably 20 EA support agents if not more. I've been told it's being looked into, although I don't feel fully reassured by scripted responses.
I am also having the exact same issue. I created a new PSN account and it worked no problem. Have tried everything. Please keep us updated if they are able to fix it for you!
