Re: battlefield 1 crashes, both at campaign and multiplayer

Hello @dustman000

Can you please post the error message text or attach a screenshot here?

Have you tried to Repair the game in Origin client or reinstall the game? Did you install something else recently (any software)? Some programs can conflict with Battlefield 1, try to run a clean boot on your PC and run Origin as Administrator https://help.ea.com/tr/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Also, check for updates your graphics driver and Windows.

Thanks for the response, when it crashes, there is a window that pops up, "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program, and notify you if a solution is available."  That is it for after it crashes.

The cpu spikes to 100% when it crashes, this is a new laptop, and I believe everything is up to date, though I haven't checked that yet, and am currently running through the clean boot, with running origin as admin.

Please check the following and post anything you find that relates to BF1

    1. Open Control Panel
    2. Open Security and Maintenance.
    3. Expand the Maintenance Category, then select "View Reliability history" under the heading that reads "Check for solutions to problem reports."

In the graph click on the most recent X symbol that corresponds to the crash, in the details below right click the event and 'view technical details', copy and paste that info here please.

    Thanks.
