No worries, i7 4790k, GTX980 sc and a MSI Z97S Krait Edition motherboard, 16gb memory, SSD running the glorious Windows 8.1.
Have razer black widow and death adder mouse and keyboard...
  • Ok...has the problem occured after any changes to the system? Do you use any third party software for your mouse and keyboard?

I had a similiar problem some months ago. I managed to fix it by enabling XHCI hand-off" (eXtensible Host Controller Interface) on my motherboard BIOS. Just to be sure try to check if that function is enabled.

    Hello.

    1) If you have a joystic/gamepad, try unplug it.
    2) Try to close before run game all programs like "Razer Surround/Synapse", Rivatuner, Fraps, MSI Afterburner, ASRock eXtreme Tuner, Skype, XFire, XSplit and other...

Keep in mind, if u use simultaneously some game programs (Steam, Origin, "Nvidia Experience", "AMD Gaming Evolved",...) that have some option overlay feature over/in game - this is 90% conflict, you'd use only one that program or overlay feature over/in game should be turn on only in one program.

Try to close all of kind process or update/delete it.

Do you have any other peripherals connected when this happens such as an Xbox game pad, a joy stick etc? Did this start after a recent change made to game settings or to your PC?

run command line as Admin and enter a commands:

    set > c:\list.txt

    tasklist /v >> c:\list.txt

    msinfo32  /report C:\Info.txt

then attach to a message the files list.txt and Info.txt from root folder of C volume
