Couple of questions. Does this still work as seen something on the web dated at the beginning of this year. I have purchased the electronic version (pre ordered) of bf4 and premium at the same time how does this effect me from upgrading my version of BF4 on the PS3 to PS4 version? Also can i transfer my stats on the PS3 version to PS4 still as the information that was posted on the web really old and don't know if this is still in effect?

The PS3-PS4 digital upgrade for the game expired many months ago, however you can still import your Premium from PS3 to PS4. To migrate your BF4 Premium from PS3 to your PS4 you will need to log in with the same PSN account that you originally purchased Premium with on PS3, then install BF4, start BF4, then go to the BF4 in game store to the premium section and "re-purchase" BF4 premium for Zero dollars.
After the premium file downloads and installs to your console quit BF4, restart BF4 so it initializes with the premium file present and then return to the Premium section of the BF4 in game store and download all expansions covered by premium.
You will also be asked "ONE TIME" to import your soldier. Do not say no or you will be unable to import your PS3 soldier in the future.
After this quit BF4, go to games and apps from the dashboard and then manually install each expansion. After this start BF4 and you can play on the new expansions as a premium player.

The thing is, it doesn't say zero dollars for the PS4 Premium in the in-game store.
It is like the price of a new game. ☹️

I have the same issue, I bought BF4 for the PS4, I already had it on PS3. I installed all the content, and did use the same PSN account (The only one I have)
My premium transferred but I never got a prompt for the soldier stats transfer. Not a single prompt at all, game logs in to a soldier with rank 0 and no stats, nothing unlocked, 0 play time.
I requested that EA Call me with the support help page and they told me that it was a promotional deal and that I needed to call Sony, even though this entire process worked for friends of mine the same exact day that I tried.
Why have I not received a prompt? Is there anything I can do to remedy this? I don't (and wont) start from scratch.Was this a promotional deal and somehow I didn't get selected or something?
The same thing happened to me. It's an issue on EA's end that they refuse to take responsibility for. I'd suggest to just keep pestering them about it; the more people that complain about it the more likely it is that it will be fixed.

I can confirm that this method still works. I just did it today. just make sure that you are using your original user ID that you got premium with in the first place.
Appearantly... if you dont play any game mode on PS 4 it's possible to still do it.one you start playing on ps4 your screwed.
Any news on this?? I haven't played on ps4 yet but I'm not getting any options to transfer my ps3 soldier level and stats...
I have b4 premium on ps3 and on ps4 and using the same ps account and battlelog account, my ps4 soldier is lvl 1.
Any way to fix this? I already made my soldier as active on battlelog.com, however on battlelog my ps3 and ps4 soldiers are different level.
