If the reveal doesn't show gameplay, then what is it revealing? We already know that Battlefield 6 is in development and is scheduled to release this year, and that it takes place in a modern / near-future setting.

Agreed - But its most probably going to be a bit mix of various aspects: Cinematic fly-by over a war torn area, with soldiers and vehicles battling on the ground and various airborne forces joining in. Then a zoom in for a few short first person soldier views and then also a few clips from/up close with vehicles, but again back in 3rd person perspective. Do not expect that we will get much deep insights into weapon or vehicle options/accessories or the experience system. Though do expect and hope some emphasis with be on strategic teamplay and collaboration.
