(New edits to all my thread comments here) Between BF3 and BF4, the same basic version of Frostbite was being used for those games.  For this game, Frostbite has been incrementally advanced, and Hardline requires more hardware power (although apparently to quite the extent I've had in mind).  Beta copies, unlike Demo copies, are not supposed to be particularly predictive of anything influencing game performance, sorry.

    The BF HL specs:

    Minimum:
OS: WINDOWS VISTA SP2 64-BIT (with KB971512 Update)
PROCESSOR: Athlon II/Phenom II 2.8 GHz, Intel Core {Quad?} i3/i5 2.4GHz (struck out the parenthetic)
    MEMORY: 4 GB RAM
GRAPHICS CARD: ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1 GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450(?)
    HARD DRIVE: 60 GB
    DIRECTX 11

I have edited the Geforce minimum because the official version contains a typographical error that EA seems reluctant to correct.  However, I'll have to track down a newer copy, in which cores were referenced, I'd thought (turns out not to be the case, sorry)

I'm apparently allowing other EA games' requirements to merge (mentally) with those here.  Dual core CPUs are the minimum, still, same as the Beta.  A minimum hardware system only qualifies for medium screen resolutions, moderate animation rates, etc.  The GPU you have should be handling medium/high graphics settings, it's just the missing recommended power compared to your system . .

Sorry but what did you mean by its missing the recommended power compared to my system? Could you please put it in simpler terms i really am a noob at this stuff.

Your system is an in-between, with an above-average graphics device matched to what in today's terms amounts to average or low side of average.  The game recommendations (attached below) support high graphics, high screen resolution, and 55-upward FPS animation rates.  Minimum isn't quite that good.  You are in between minimum and recommended, so you eventually ought to get running at in between settings, that's what I meant to say.

None of that explains the extended long load times or poor performance in comparison with what the game requirements are set up to tell the PC owner whether he can play a given game, and how well.  Anyway, you know that Answer HQ is a lot of game players, not EA techs, right?

No one else has popped in with anything to say, not even to razz me about my mental slip-up this morning.  If that stays the same, you may want to try EA Help, but it's Friday, and most of them will leave for home at 10:00PM, not to be back until Monday, leaving only a very  few to answer the live chat, so I guess I'd have to suggest you get started in the waiting queue while the wait time is only an hour, instead of guaranteed over two hours tomorrow.

How to: Contact an EA Adviser.
