- Anonymous11 years agoHuzzah! I have discovered the issue after days of confusion! At one point I had set up a ps3 controller to act like an Xbox controller, which created a vjoy compliant "phantom" device in device manager. Even though nothing was connected, I noticed that whenever I tried to remap the joystick keys that as soon as I clicked it it would automatically set the key and not let me do anything. That gave me the idea to check device manager to see if there was something there and found the phantom controller. I simply disabled it and everything was fine! Thanks everyone!
