Ok let me tell OUR story.
Now for some months a friend got the same problem
.BF3 got stuk, device hung error, screen freezes and mouse disabled, black screen, bsod, reboots and a few other weird problems.
After searching the web, we disoverd there are some hundred suggestions but no real solution.
Sometimes he is playing for a few hours and there is no problem, then an error, crash or other problem.
Even sometimes after a few minutes his game, computer and/or hardware act weird and/or got stuck.
We tried 'a lot' of different options to solve this,
REINSTALL BF3, GRAPHICS DRIVERS (updated and downgraded drivers), FROM WINDOWS 7 64bit HOME PREMIUM (2x) to WINDOWS 7 64bit ULTIMATE.
UPDATE CHIPSET DRIVERS, SOUNDCARD DRIVERS (INTERNAL), LOGITECH KEYBOARD-MOUSE-GAMEPAD DRIVERS.
REMOVED EXTRA NETWORKCARDS, SWITCHED GRAPHICSCARD TO ANOTHER PCIE PORT.
RESET BIOS TO DEFAULT AND THEN OVERCLOCKED MOTHERBOARD , RESET TO DEFAULT AGAIN.
REMOVED ALL KIND OF SOFTWARE, DIFFERENT VIRUS SCANNERS, DISABLED VIRUSSCANNERS-FIREWALLS AND ALL KIND OF OTHER SECURITY SOFTWARE, REMOVED CODECS AND SO ON.
USED DRIVER_SWEEPER, IN CMD SFC /SCANNOW, REGISTRY SCANS, CHECK DISK, DEFRAGMENTION AND ALL KIND OF OTHER SOFTWARE TO SCAN/FIX/CHECK SYSTEM.
NEW UTP CABLES - NEW MODEM - EVEN A NEW NETWORKCARD - CALLED PROVIDER TO CHECK SETTINGS AND NETWORK QUALITY.
STILL THE SAME PROBLEM - NO SOLUTION.
REINSTALL DIRECTX, UPGRADE DIRECTX blablabla
Weird is, my friend got same motherboard (asus p5e64 ws evolution), same cpu Intel Q9650, same bios version 0802 and settings , same ram (Kingston HyperX 2GB 1800MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM a total of 8gb), same networkspeed 120 Mbit/s up and 10 Mbit/s down (friends provider is chello/upc and i got ziggo all in one).
His Graphicscard is an asus gtx580, and i use a asus gtx470.
When BF3 was released he wasnt able to download IT, when he downloaded BF3 then download got stuck or it did go from (EXAMPLE) 80% backward to 33% and/or started again, but it never finished the download.
Then i did RAR BF3 on my computer and did send it to him, unrar it at his computer, and started bf3 check, it did see all the files and was able to update/play bf3.
After months this download problem was solved, he could download and play the game, but those last 2 months he got those problems, only fresh download works ok now, but still those weird errors
Now we will try to downclock graphicscard and/or set voltage a bit higher to see if this brings a solution for his hardware/software problems.
Will reply if this works out for him.
What i think is , this is a problem from NVIDIA and EA/ORIGIN.
Why ? they made hardware and software, NVIDIA and EA/ORGIN thats not ompitable with each other and probarly the hardware to.
They shoud finaly do a research on this issue, TOGETHER, and make a REAL solution for this and all the people with those kind of problems/erros, if its hardware or software, FIX IT !

PS i got this problem to in the past, ERRORS, STUCK, BSOD blablabla, i fixed something but forget what i did, but be sure i tried lots of 'solutions' to fix this.
