The easiest way is to go to https://help.ea.com/contact-us and check the option to have EA customer support call you. Provide your phone number and they will call you when your place in the phone queue comes up. It beats staying on hold forever.

Worst company ever. After spending hundreds, I can't get my games and expansion packs to play, updated, still can't play, Opened dozens of windows, looked up dozens of "solutions" still can't play. Ridiculous. I should be able to play the games I own. Now, can't even call anyone to help me. After searching online for hours all I get is links that go round and round, no help. It's like the CEO's are just sitting back scooping up their money from customers without supplying employees to help with customer service. Thanks a lot.
just went through this as well with my sims game,
go to ea help page, click on someone hacked my account , then click chat with us. most likely they wont have a solution for you but will report the bug. best of luck!
