Community AdminI'll just have to echo Carbonic on this. We haven't said anything, and I very much doubt it'll happen.
We are seeing a rise of PC & console cross platform (and I personally think that's great) but these games tend to be pad-centric, whereas for a game where shooting is a primary focus, it wouldn't be very fair to pit console players against Keyboard & Mouse users.

Hi there but PS4 and other consoles have usb ports and game like call of duty has keyboard and mouse setting and I've played on consoles using mouse and keyboard .
Only thing this has to be added to Battlefield games and it's easy , and it won't be hard to do cross platform either

Can't rule out future titles getting cross-platform functionality but I can say with the upmost certainty Battlefield 1 will not (or better or worse).
Keyboards on console are an increasingly popular option for players but that comes with it's own set of balancing issues and just wouldn't be a good idea.
There are ways around it, but I think BF1 specifically has an issue with M&K affecting certain 3rd party anti-cheat barriers.
