Re: Points per kill on Conquest down from 100 to 20

It's weird that you got 100 points for kill in BF1 at any point, because it's not supposed to happen. Since the launch the approach has been the same. It works like this:

  • 'Enemy killed' and 'Assists counts as kill' give 20 points
  • 'Enemy hit' gives you a number of points equal to damage you did.

Here are examples of how it works in practice: if you killed someone on your own, you get 100 'Enemy hit' points and 20 'enemy killed' points (so 120 total). If you did 75-99 damage and someone else got the kill, you will get 75-99 'enemy hit' pts and 20 Assist counts as kill pts. However, if you did, let's say, 5 damage and it was enough to kill someone, you will get 25 points (5 for enemy hit, 20 for kill).

In the end, this system simply focuses on recognizing players who did the main chunk of damage  instead of focusing purely on kills.
