Re: The game is not saving the progress of the campaign.

It will not create the folder until you start the game and the game is allowed by Windows to create the folder.

  • Carbonic, its not creating the folder, each time I open the game its like I opened it from the first time, it asks for the brigtness calibration and sound output, then plays the intro scene. I'vep played it like 10 times already with and without admin mode and repairing the game and it just wont create a folder. Also, it doesnt connect to the EA servers, I tried opening Battlefield 4, and from its menu looking for a game in Battlefield 1, but when it opens Battlefield 1 I get the same screen to calibrate the brightness, and then it plays the intro scene again.

I've already checked that all the folders are not in "read only", so I dont know what else to do apart from unistalling and installing over and over again until it works. I'm getting really frustrated over here.

  • sorry for bumping it but I would like to be able to play a game I payed for.

If you look in the security options for your documents folder, Origin folder and BF1 folder try checking if you have full write permissions.

  • They have all the permissions but the "special permission" one.

  • @Carbonic jsut thought about something, does having the game from Origin Access have anything to do with the game not saving or not being able to connect to online play either?

Origin Access should not cause the game to not save if it's working like intended.

As you've had the same issue with another game perhaps it's time you scanned your harddrive for errors and thought about doing a fresh install of Windows.

  • @Carbonic I havent had the same problem in other games, BF4 works just fine, the problem comes when I try to run BF1 FROM the menu of BF1, so the problem is Battlefield 1, also Battlefront online and campaign works perfectly. Its not that.
