Re: What can i do if i got banned because my account was hacked?

Not much, really. As Punkbuster is a 3rd party program, EA can't do anything about it, so you'd need a new account.

By the way, I just looked at your other thread... what was the EXACT ban message? The thing is, unofficial PBBans ban means that the violation was raised on a lite streaming server. It means that enforcing this ban is a fully opt-in process, where admin has to physically agree to enforce the ban appearing on the unofficial master ban index. It means that you should have one more option... appealing to admin of server that banned you.

and ban message differs sometimes "Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'matryona12' (for 1210 minutes) ... PBBans.com enforced a previous Unofficial Cross Game MBi Ban for matryona12. [Admin Decision] ", sometimes its caps lock YOU WERE KICKED BY PUNKBUSTER

but this one from PB site

    "Violation information from PBBans.com:
Ban Date: February 17, 2016 at 3:10:56 pm EST
    PBBans Ban Link: https://www.pbbans.com/mbi-view-unofficial-ban-43871.html
    GUID: 9cca1ae4
    Game: Battlefield 4
    Violation: VIOLATION (WALLHACK) 69096"

  • EDIT: Ban details you provided also show server name (to be precise, PBBans Ban Link does). Copy it, paste it in Google and add 'bf4' at the end. By doing it, I found the homepage of this clan. You should be able to find the admin list there and give an appeal a shot...

  • I am. As I mentioned, it says it is an unofficial ban. Let me explain. There are basically two types of PBBans streaming - full and lite. When cheat violation is raised on a lite streaming server, you will show up on the unofficial master ban index, contrary to official master ban index (where people banned on servers with full streaming go).

Now, you might wonder how that changes anything. The thing is, enforcing an unofficial master ban is an opt in process - server admins have to physically check a box agreeing to enforce bans that appear on the unofficial master ban index (UMBI). For that reason, appealing to the server admin that runs the server you were banned from to not support the UMBI becomes an extra option, aside from two options possible both for official and unofficial master bans - the appeal (which failed) and getting a new copy of the game.

I hope that clears it up. Still, this solution is far from perfect, as it still is a cross game ban... basically, you might get unbanned from this server, but other servers accepting the UMBI list will still deny access (although you should be able to play on servers that only accept the official bans). Getting a new account will be the only way to get a clean start everywhere.

    ok thank you,

P.S. * EA *es, * that stupid punkbuster that banned me for nothing, this games and this company sucks...

  • Actually, this ban doesn't exactly have much to do with EA, as it came from Punkbuster, which was created by Evenbalance (thus making PB a third party program). The only connection to EA is that Punkbuster is used in many EA-published games, such as Battlefield 3 and 4... but it also finds its use in many other titles developed/published by major companies. Heck, I remember that it already was in use when I have played the first Call of Duty, back in 2003. Basically, if anything, you shold be upset at Evenbalance...

Did you already appeal there because the status was "Closed - Denied"
