Russian Axe codex

Hi @oscar28052009 the Fire and Ice Operations Campaign that is currently running does not end today. When I checked last night in-game on the Operations menu, the timer on the screen said 5 days remaining, and that's also what is confirmed on the official battlefield calendar. So you will have some more time to collect the puzzle pieces on this Operation, and I'm pretty sure that there will be another campaign live again after this one. Last time the Campaigns went live almost back to back.

So given the fact you can complete 2 campaigns per day, you still will have a chance until the current campaign ends. I need 1 more puzzle piece for the Russian Axe myself, and it still depends on chance. As per my previous post the 3 melee weapons (Russian Axe, Russian Award Knife and the French Butcher Knife) will remain the exclusive rewards in the Operations Campaign battlepack. So you will have a chance of 1/3 to get the Russian Axe piece.

Thanks very much for that. Yes you're right it does have 5 days left. I played two games yesterday and was really lucky that both battle packs had the Russian axe piece in them. So I have 3 pieces now. 

Hope you managed to get your final piece for the axe and thanks again for the info, much appreciated.

@oscar28052009 No not yet, unfortunately as a father working a day job, my gaming time is limited to late at night and then I don't have time always to play a full Operation let alone a full campaign. Currently I have half of the work done (Brusilov Offensive), so hoping I can get Devil's Anvil done soon, and then fingers crossed my reward will be the missing Russian Axe puzzle piece.

I am the same as you. Not sure how old your children are but if not too young you should do what I do and get help from them haha! My 8 year old son often plays it so I get help there. The best thing to do to ensure you get the 25,000 points on each is be on the winning side. I found defending was the better of the 2 and win more than attacking. Worst thing is to join a game half way through play for 15 minutes be on the losing side and full short of the 25,000 required so have to play another round. I played once, and finished on 24,450 so had to do another round!! At least winning you get your points are doubled at the end. 

I managed to get another so have 4 now and will hopefully get the last piece tonight if I get time to play. Just luck of the draw of course with Battle packs. I got 2 from 2 one day and the other 2 were from 4 days playing and 8 packs! so just luck

I have  3 year old and 6 year old daughters, not really suitable to play Battlefield........yet😉

But they were away Yesterday afternoon until after dinner, so managed to get some gaming time cramped in after work.

So quickly started up Devil’s Anvil, joined as attacker on the first sector of Verdun, and we completely steamrolled the enemy team. Finishing the full Operation in 30 minutes not losing a single battalion. Unfortunately too short to get the required 25,000. I ended with a little more than 22,000 points even with the 2,5 multiplier.

So had to start another round. I got lucky, again joining as attacker, this time on 2nd sector of Verdun and already down to the last battalion, so I knew it was not gonna be a long game, but it was long enough for me to get sufficient points and complete the campaign.

And then I was lucky with my battlepack too and received my final Axe puzzle piece. So I’ve got it now!

Did not get to use it yet as at night the 3rd girl in the house also demanded some time and attention 😉
