STUPID MCDONALDS $10 PROMO CODE WONT WORK

I noticed that Battlefield 3 was on sale for under 10 dollars so im like oh cool i can use my code. I followed the instructions but it said the code cant be used so im like -_- and the code doesnt expire till october -_- MCDONALDS LIES does anyone know what the hell is going on and how to get this piece of crap to work
