Uninstalling Battlefield Vietnam

I bought the Battlefield 1942 pack a long time ago but kept it around. Just got a new system and decided to try it out just to give it a shot. Well, as expected, the game is older so I wanted to uninstall everything. All went well until the Battlefield Vietnam uninstall. I've gone through the process over and over but it will not disappear. Every time I reboot the computer I get a message about Live Update 2 wanting to run. Then there's an annoying pop-up about being infected and to call a number (I know it's not real) in order to fix the issue.

Does anyone know how to get rid of that?

i copy paste  the text from a  bfv forum that has this guide.

(i got bf Vietnam my self  and i never seen a file called Live Update 2 in the folder)

here you have a manual uninstall guide  for Battlefield Vietnam.

you have to use the registry editor.

Remember that editing your computers registry incorrectly can severely damage your operating system. i recommend having a computer professional perform these steps. If you are confident, however, that you can edit your registry successfully, then please follow the instructions below carefully.

Performing the regedit and a manual uninstall for the game

     1. Click the Start button-> Run

     2. Type in 'regedit'

     3. Double-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder

     4. Open Software folder

     5. Open Electronic Arts

     6. Open the EA Games folder within the Electronic Arts folder

     7. Delete the Battlefield Vietnam folder

     8. Open the other EA Games folder

     9. Delete the entire Battlefield Vietnam folder

     10. Open the Microsoft folder

     11. Open the Windows folder

     12. Open the Current Version folder

     13. Open the Uninstall folder and delete the following item, if you see it:
(if you dont have this folder skip this step)
Delete the {E35B3C63-E958-4E31-A178-95D22024109A} folder for Battlefield
     Vietnam

     14. Close the registry editor

     6. Close the EA Games folder

     7. Open My Computer

     8. Open C:

     9. Open Program Files or Program Files (x86) when 64bit windows

     10. From the Menu Bar, select Tools> Folder Options

     13. Press Apply and OK

     14. Open Installshield Installation Information folder and delete the following folder if you see it:

     {E35B3C63-E958-4E31-A178-95D22024109A} folder for Battlefield
