I agree with the claymores but not the c4. Also we cant do that. We have no contact with actual dice or EA employees

They did at one point add in a patch to have both Claymores and C4 stay put once you died, However the majority of users did not like this change and started complaining about it. The major complaint was that someone could put C4 on a tank, get killed and then detonate the C4 as soon as they respawned. Another patch was released awhile later and removed it so they no longer stayed once you died.
as far as I remember you could not detonate them as soon as you spawmned.
you no logner had control over those C4 since you were a "new" soldier after you spawned.
what could however happend was that a smart engineer shot a RPG on the bunch of C4 on the tank and it would set of a chain reaction killing the tank- Anonymous13 years ago

What I woould liek to know is why do the land minds persist even after the player who planted them has died , and not only that why do they persist even after that player has switched class.
