I think you're wrong because i says on the box that it includes Battlefield 4tm China Rising Expansion Pack. It also shows an "important" advice next to the code saying that the code is for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 4 China Rising Expansion pack.
He told you that only premium members have access to china rising regardless if your box says it comes with it it was just released to premium members. ( I have preorder version for ps3 also comes with china rising) if your not a premium user you will have to wait until dec 17th to download and play china rising unless you get premium. As for your code saying its not valid mines as well says it on my ps3 but only because I activated it once already and wasn't informed that non premium members had to wait till the 17th of dec.
