Hello,

 

I recently bought two games via Steam (Sniper Elite 5 and Battlefield V - Definitive Edition) and I encounter crashes that reset my PC, sometimes immediately after the level is loaded and sometimes after a few minutes.

 

My setup:
Intel Xeon E5 2699 v3
16 GB 2133MHz RAM
GeForce GTX 1080
Windows 10

While the game was running, I checked the CPU temp. and the RAM usage and did not see anything suspicious.

I ran a stress test using OCCT which came out with flying colors.

I've updated all my drivers to the latest versions.

This seems to only happen with Steam related games, who sent me to EA for support.
