Account has been hijacked, and now my access to MP has been revoked

Hello

I bought BF5 on release day to play over the christmas period. I started it up a few days later to make sure my gaming system could play it with no issues.
Probably spent all of 20 mins on single player calibrating the graphics, monitor and mouse speed.

Any way. Not played started the game since as i work day and night shifts and few weeks before christmas there is a mad rush to get changes through before the change freeze.

Two days ago i get an email while i was at work.

Hello,

We noticed that your EA account broke EA’s gameplay rules.

Because your account was involved in cheating, we’ve permanently blocked your access to Battlefield V’s online features. This means that you can no longer access multiplayer maps or modes.

• Read up on how to play by the rules at https://help.ea.com/help/battlefield/battlefield-v/play-by-the-battlefield-v-rules/
• Review our full user agreement. This is what you agree to when you play EA games or use EA Services:
http://www.ea.com/terms-of-service

What this means

When we talk about cheating, we mean things like using external tools, performing in-game exploits, or abusing glitches or bugs.

Ok so now my BF5 multiplayer has been disabled and i cant even give it ago. Because some s**t head decided to use my account to cheat. What was the point.
So i raise a ticket with EA/Origin to explain the situation like i am explaining now. But they dont want to hear it.

So because my account got hijacked [Comment removed - CM]. I dont even get the chance to play the game online.
Ive asked for a refund of the game. But apparently because i launched the game im not even entitled to that.
I cant even speak to some one in EA customer services directly because they hide behind their office walls and EA offers no live change or phone number to speak to them about it.

At this point i dont know what i can do.

    this is getting silly now.
After speaking to some one helpful in live chat. A new ticket was raised and he said he was going to close other the other cases and keep the new one live.

Instead, some one has closed off all the cases for the issue being resolved.

    It has not been RESOLVED!

I am seriously wondering if any one is actually reading the comments in the ticket.
My account was clearly hikacked and abused.

I have just recieved an email stating

Yeah. I was late to the game on that with my origin account because i rarely play there games.

    Too late now.

Due to the complete lack of compassion and commonsense by the team they have dealing with cheaters.
I am a victim of account hijacking. Granted me not moving to two form authentication sooner is on me.
My BF5 MP access is permanently blocked. No appeal. Do not pass go, do not collect £200
So whats the point in playing a game if you cant play it with your mates.

So therefore i have little choice other than to cut all ties with EA and their games associated with Origin.
My Origin/EA account has now been permanently deleted.

I will no longer associate with a such a company.

Cost me £55 for a game i have never played. The last they will take from me.

Well I'm sorry to hear that mate.
What IP did the E-mail give you?
And When you got the e-mail saying someone was trying to log into your account, did it only ask you to change password?

    Can your Mail be compromised?

And if I were you I would change all passwords on everything.

It's a pretty standard practice you will find no matter where you go. If game companies revoked bans for everyone who claimed they were hacked then every cheater would just claim they were hacked and continue cheating.
