Ever since ea games from steam stared launching through EA app i have had this issue. Before when it was launching via origin i could play battlefield 5. But now when i launch battlefield 5 EA app opens and the game just doesn't load. Here's a screenshot of the error message.
How are you starting BFV? I first start Steam, and the EA App (or even vice versa), and launch the game in the EA App, and I am having no troubles.
EA app is a big crap. I can't even sent my friend links in this app. We have to do this using our e-mails. We have 2023. Pathetic. EA forced us to use unfinished app..
Having same issue except i don't get any error message. It just shuts down from loading screen in startup returning me to the app to retry.
Used to run BFV from Origin. After EA completely removed Origin, forcing me to use the EA app, I have to chance to play BFV.
Exact same issue for BFV & BF4.
If you're gonna retire your platform and strong arm people into installing the new crap one at least make sure the licences work, EA devs straight up flopped on this.

EA app not launching my BF5 at all, tried all the possible fixes support has suggested in other threads and nothing helps, my guess is that the EA launcher is messed up.
Would be cool to be able to play a game ive bought.
Clearing the cache worked for me, would try it out if your having this issue.
