Battlefield 5 Won't Launch

Battlefield 4 and 5 won't launch. Downloaded both again recently and when I launch the game Origin minimizes and then reappears and the play button highlights again. I've tried clearing Origin cache, running both Origin and Battlefield as administrator, clean boot, redownloading Origin and Battlefield, tried launching through the new EA app. I've tried closing every program on my PC except for Origin and then launching and still nothing. It's really pissing me off, EA forums have been no help and I can't seem to find anyone who is having a similar problem. I've tried fixes for crashes and fixes for stuttering, updated video drivers; if its a fix I've done it. I just want to play your stupid broken games EA. And I can't.

@rolando_simota First, you need to locate the folder which you have the ea launcher installed.
    For me it was "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EADesktop\EADesktop"
Then, you need to find "EALauncher.exe", right click on it and then click "Properties". Then, go to the "Compatibility" tab and click on "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and "Run this program as an administrator" and hit apply.
Then repeat this for "Link2ea.exe", but you also enable under the "Compatibility mode" box the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7. You also don't need to enable "Disable fullscreen optimizations" in this file.
Keep in mind that I whitelisted in the windows firewall and in my antivirus the "bfv.exe" and both the previous files.
This is what worked for me, if you encounter any other problems, you can tell me and I will try to help ipiresies as much as possible. Take care y'all!

Good afternoon, I once have bought battlefield V in steam, it was in 2021 , I had a dozens of good hours of gameplay with friends of mine, but I uninstalled it. 2 times ago I wanted to play it once again, but after downloading it from steam I was not able to launch it. While I'm launching it from steam, EA shows the error : "Your game failed to launch An error on our end caused your launch to fail" .

Ok, I started to find solutions, I have tried to clear steam's and ea's caches, updated windows, drivers, did the app recovery, changed the name of outdatedEADesktop to Ea Desktop, validated my Battlefield V in steam, uncheck and check the run as administrator, but nothing works.

Besides, I have the downloaded battlefield 1 and it works correctly(maybe because it was bought in origin, but not in steam). Also, when I'm trying to launch it as exe. EA Desktop shows the error : "You Don't Have Access".

May you help me please! <3

  • I found a easy fix. Open OneDrive, open documents, then delete battlefield V. Have fun!

  • @EA_Leeuw I FOUND THE SOLUTION:

remove non english letters to the path of games (i had turkish word like ö in path i removed em and fixed!)
  • I had this problem too and i fixed it by launching onedrive and enabling launching the game as a administrator [you open game files rightclick bfv.exe click on properties then on compatibility and click run this program as an administrator

  • here is the file to help. i have tried everything from reinstalling, to repairing, to giving administrator commands i am not sure what to do anymore..please help ea support team..
