Battlefield V - Crash to desktop without error message.

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60 GHz
Memory: 32GB RAM
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super
DirectX: DirectX 12

I’ve been dealing with this issue since I purchased the game last week.  Using information found on the forums and on other web sites, this is what I’ve done in my attempts to resolve this issue:

1.  I used the Repair feature in the Origin client, reinstalled Origin and Battlefield V and cleared the Origin cache.

2.  I have disabled all overlays and ran both the client and the game in admin mode.

3.  I have made sure my drivers, bios and Windows 10 are up to date.  None of my hardware has been overclocked.

4.  I have done a system scan in the command prompt and I have tried to run Battlefield V after a clean boot.

5.  I created a new Windows account and at this point I found some success.  It no longer crashed once it reached the main menu but continued to crash to desktop once I loaded into a session.

6.  I disabled DX12 to no avail.  I adjusted other settings to decrease the demand and increase the stability.  Once again, no dice.  Finally, I switched the audio to War Tapes.  For one reason or another, this let me load into a session and start to play.  Nonetheless, I’m still presented the same issue in the end.  It freezes, the audio cuts and momentarily returns, and then it crashes to desktop.  Sometimes immediately, other times after a few minutes, but on rare occasion I can complete a whole match without issue.

7.  I contacted EA Help and explained the situation to them.  The one suggestion the representative had was to download and install the latest versions of x86 and x64 for Visual C++.  This made no difference.

In closing, the EA Help representative told me this, “I have no further troubleshooting that I can try that you haven't already attempted.  I would highly recommend requesting a refund from Steam.  The only thing I have left is reporting this for additional investigation, and I'd also request that you post about this issue on our forums.”

So, here I am.
