I also encountered this problem. I can't understand why such a strange BUG would occur. Exiting the game caused the computer to freeze and restart. No matter how I updated the graphics card driver or the motherboard BIOS, I couldn't get rid of this nightmare.

Hi, it's the same for me, and for a lot of person since few days. It's caused by the EA anticheat.
We can't do nothing, just wait for a fix by EA.

Yes, it's a terrible bug, and I'm afraid it might damage my computer. EA doesn't seem to care much about our problems because this issue has been ongoing for a week now!

WARNING!!! DO NOT TRY TO REINSTALL GAME OR EA ANTI CHEAT!!!! Mine was rebooting every time I turned off the game too. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and the anti cheat using the built in method of the anti cheat and now I can't even run the game. EA stuff is garbage. I'm so sick and tired of their weak stuff. BF1 and BFV reboot my computer now when trying to even load the game and BF2042 just hangs at the load screen. I've let that one sit for over an hour to see if I can even get in with no results. After attempting a Repair and Uninstall/Reinstall I can't even play anymore. That's about $200 of wasted money right there for products I can't even use. Good luck waiting for a patch or a fix... they abandon these games after a while and they're off to the next scam. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they got hit with a class action lawsuit?

Try going into the Power Plan settings of you PC and switching to Balanced. Mine was set to High Performance before. After the switch, it doesn't crash anymore.

Yes, I have seen this solution in a few places, thank you. However, it negatively affects FPS and game performance, and also resets the in-game graphics settings every time I start a new game.
