I enjoyed that little tutorial leak but other than that there has been 0 info so I'm currently just "meh" about it.
Rush has been somewhat of a letdown so Firestorm is the only thing that can really breath new life into V; I sincerely hope it does well, for all our sake
- N1peno7 years agoNew RookieI'm definitely excited for it, but I'm also afraid it will not be what people expect it to be and get hate. I believe in the devs and hope they do their best to make it good.

That trailer was sick; definitely excited now.
Putting up the Firestorm trailer here for everyone's convenience. It really is a well made trailer. Funny little shootout bit at the beginning, and some new toys...
Comes out on 25 March for everyone.

I think everyone was caught off guard not having "Ring of Fire" playing (which still totally fits), but Burning Down the House worked well too.
I love seeing the Colibri; will be great to flex my whirlybird skills again and adding the amphibious vehicle will be perfect for what seems to be a giant mass of water (let's just hope it handles well).
One thing I didn't overly enjoy seeing was the fact you can survive going outside the ring of fire. It looked super cool in the trailer but I think it would be better for your soldier to get obliterated just like the environment to set it apart from other BR games but that's just my own personal opinion. Isn't going to be any good till they get the cheating under control I'm afraid for the PC anyway...

Here are some shots of Firestorm's Halvøy map, the largest map Battlefield has ever seen. Yup, that's Hamada in the top left of the second pic lol
