Battlefield V stuck in validating/repair loop on Steam

Hello,

I am having an issue with Battlefield V on Steam.

After installing the game, it starts “Validating” files. When it finishes and I try to launch the game, it shows “Repair” and then starts validating again. This creates an infinite loop and I am unable to play the game.
