Newest EA anti cheat Javelin causing more headache than EAC EA Anti Cheat
Previously with EAC EA Anti cheat, you could just manually update, allowing Windows Defender to exclude file checking and turning Power Plan to Balanced, in-game problem usually gone or kept at minimum. Now with their latest toy, Battlefield V is almost unplayable, constantly crashing every minute, causing micro stutter and spawning bugs. Oh and not to mention breaking any other device driver. I wonder if this is their way of turning people away from the old games as new installment launch is imminent. There's old adage, A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and There is no such thing as perfect security, only varying levels of insecurity. To sum it up, making anti cheat more hostile is only driving your fan base away, fast response and tough firm decision to ban all cheater are still best way.1.1KViews1like7CommentsGame Wont Launch - Security Violation Latest version of EA anticheat is required

Already unbanned once, banned again
Hello everyone, I’m posting here because I’m experiencing a very frustrating issue with Battlefield V and FairFight. I played BFV without issue when the game was released. On august 15, I wanted to play again but my account was banned by FairFight for cheating. I immediately contacted EA Support, who reviewed my case and unbanned me – which clearly showed that the ban was not justified. However, only a few days later, I was banned again by FairFight without any explanation. My EA account history still shows **no bans or sanctions**. I contacted support again, but this time I only received a generic “final decision” response, without any proper review of the situation or acknowledgement that I had already been unbanned once. So right now I am completely unable to play a game I legally purchased, despite never cheating and having a clean record. 👉 Has anyone else experienced the same issue with repeated/unjust FairFight bans? 👉 And to the moderators/EA staff here: could you please escalate my case to the Terms of Service team? This looks like an error in the FairFight system, and I just want a proper review. Thank youSolved23Views0likes3CommentsBattlefield 5 Slow Startup and Long Loading Time
Update (Edited: 06-08-2025): Even BF6's open beta loads fine on the same PC—just 50 seconds from clicking "Play" to reaching the main menu. Update (Edited: 30-07-2025): Performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 and the game still takes over two minutes to load. A friend of mine with a different setup is experiencing the same issue. I suspect the problem is related to the anti-cheat or the game itself. I’ve attached a screen recording to this forum post showing the problem, including an on-screen stopwatch and Task Manager for reference. Original Post: For EA Staff & Devs Bug Report ID: 6ad91d36-9f32-4e49-98f0-e1c42c510896 Help Case ID: #215668482 I recently updated the BIOS and Windows on my laptop. Everything seemed to be running smoothly—until I noticed that launching BF5 now takes significantly longer than it used to. Only BF5 is affected, I timed it with a stopwatch and the startup consistently takes around 2.5 minutes. The other games' load time from pressing play till it enters full-screen are: BF3 = 12 Seconds BF4 = 16 Seconds BF1 = 40 Seconds Issue description: After clicking Play in the EA App, the EA Anti-Cheat launches and initializes normally. Once the Anti-Cheat finishes, there's a 30-33 second delay before the game window appears. The game remains in small window and shows a black screen for another 50-60 seconds. Eventually, the game maximizes into a full-screen window and loads the title screen. Once fully open, the game runs fine, except it loads map extremely slowly as well. Here's what I've tried so far: Confirmed that Windows and NVIDIA drivers are fully up to date. Repaired, reinstalled, and cleared the cache for both the EA App and BF5. Ran both the EA App and BF5 with administrator privilege and in offline + clean boot. Ran both the EA App and BF5 on a different SSD, ensure SSD firmware are up to date. Performed a reinstall of the NVIDIA driver using DDU; cleared DirectX and NVIDIA GL caches. Reinstalled Windows using the "Fix problems with Windows Update" in-place upgrade. Reset BIOS to default settings, did a CMOS reset too. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue, and I’m starting to run out of ideas. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions. For reference (especially if any DICE developers are reading this), here’s the BIOS update I installed: https://support.hp.com/nz-en/drivers/swdetails/omen-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-16-k0000/model/2101129710/swItemId/ob-348379-1 I’ve also attached my DxDiag file to this post in case it’s helpful.1.2KViews5likes6CommentsGetting constantly disconnected from bf5 servers

Hello! This is my first post on the forums, so let me know if I could have explained things better. So my issue is that Battlefield V just won't "launch". Press Play on Steam EA starts "preparing game" Ea Launcher closes The splash screen shows up Splash screen closes EA Launcher reopens The game never starts. It is the same when starting it from EA and within the files. It is the same even after changing the executable to "run as administrator." I have the game on Epic Games (but I don't really like their launcher) I have tried with the anti-virus turned off I have repaired, reinstalled, and updated the anti-cheat If my dxdiag is needed, let me know, but PLEASE help me fix this issue.119Views2likes7CommentsPolish language missing in Battlefield V support attempts not helping
Hello,I am writing again regarding Battlefield V purchased via EA App in Germany in 2018. Despite updating to the global version and multiple contacts with EA Support, the Polish language is still unavailable. This is unacceptable, as the game officially supports Polish and I am a paying customer in Europe. Purchase date: 2018-11-18Order #: ***************Product: Battlefield™ V – Standard EditionI demand that the Polish language pack be assigned to my account immediately, so I can play the game in Polish. I have already attempted all available legal methods, including updating to the global version and contacting support multiple times. Please confirm the resolution without further delay. Failure to resolve this issue leaves me no choice but to escalate the complaint further.Sincerely,Solved21Views0likes1CommentMissing online access
Hi all, O recently connected my pc and PS account on EA and now when i try to play BFV online on PS4 it says 'missing online access' I can only play single player games. To my knowledge i have never been banned or suspended. My PS account has been hacked a few years back, but i got it back. Anyone who knows a fix? EA is currently not replying, most likely too busy with BF6, i presume. Kind regards, KwakzalverSolved68Views0likes4Comments
