Since new version of EAAnticheat is messing with your Boot Settings, I assume the issue with it's launch might be related to Secure Boot and Fast Boot settings in your BIOS.
I managed to launch BF1 after entering BIOS and just pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart PC with no changes to BIOS settings.
I guess this forces PC to use Normal Boot, not Fast Boot.
After fresh boot my BF1 copy launched with error 0x0000005, but then it started normally on second launch.

I dont know why it launched some times but I guess fast boot was not the root cause.
I was able to lauch my BF1 copy like 5 times in a row(after reboot ofc)!
It started working as intended after I added Windows firewall rules for EA Anticheat.exe in BF1 folder and BF1 itself. These rules allow these both exe files to establish any outbound and inbound connection.
I also turn off my Avast Free AV before launching BF1(but i guess adding those 2 EXEs to exclusions in Avast panel can do the trick too)- Damnbaguettes2 months agoRising Novice
