BFV crashes after start
BFV crashes shortly after start without error code. This problem started after I have installed a new game on Steam. It was working fine before. I have checked the integrity of the game files an...
I disconnected ALL hardware (incl. Pimax4K HMD), made a Clean Boot start but did not help. Not only it still goes off after 80 seconds, twice it led to a blue screen PC crash 10 sec after starting BFV! This is weird... See attached Crash Dump file

Got it, thanks!
Were you able to try fully uninstalling and reinstalling BFV to see if that works? I know that can be time consuming, but if you're able to give it a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
New developments after uninstalling and reinstalling BFV:
The first time after 80 seconds restart, BFV went off without error notification.
Then again I used the 80 seconds lap to go to OPTION and made some modifications.
Here I think setting the FPS down from 200 to 60 synchronized with my monitor max helped to solve the problem - at least for a while...
Finally managed to play for 40 minutes then had a blue screen PC crash. This only occurs on my PC with BFV.
Why is this still happening?
(attached is also a Win debug file)
This is not encouraging to purchase BF 2042...
I always have an eye on my CPU and GPU usage & temperatures while using any simulation more compelling than BFV, like DCS or MSFS, and my PC housing is equipped with sufficient fans to keep everything cool. DCS for example has a very high claim on Hardware, and yet never had a blue screen crash with it. Even the highest BFV setting cannot overstrain a high-end PC hardware like mine. With option settings on ultimate BFV was providing me 200 FPS. Now set to 60 FPS limit, my PC hardware remains at ease...
Was there any indication in the crash files I have sent you of any temperature overload? What are their reading?
Can also Steam be a cause of all these unsteadinesses? If you find any clue connection to Steam, please let me know, because I have been dealing with some Steam issues recently, but they refuse any support related to BFV.
