Bfv Freezing Randomly
Hi, every time I play battlefield v my game freezes usually around 20 minutes in. I have done nearly anything I can think of at this point. I have disabled all of my overclocks, messed around with settings like dx11/12. I tried to repair the game and tried different drivers. The problem is unique to bf as I don’t get the same problems when running other demanding games. I have tried using gpu memory restriction and it didn’t work.
My build is:
Gigabyte Gtx 1070 OC
i56600k 4.6/3.5ghz OC
Qnix Qx2710 Monitor(1440p 60hz OC to 90hz)
Gigabyte Z170m
16gb ram
My overclock is stable in games like rainbow six siege with my computer running its hardest and I have tried disabling the gpu and cpu overclocks with no success.
Thanks for the help! I just figured it out though. I simply had to go to the Nvidia Control Panel, customize, and check enable resolutions not exposed by the display. I forgot to mention that bfv refuses to go fullscreen (aside from borderless mode). I guess the game just randomly crashes when it doesn’t see a resolution/refresh rate as compatible or something.
